Reason for the award

In the previous mission, Deep Space 5 was taken over by a Cardassian force led by the former DS5 Cardassian Ambassador. But the crew rebelled and the station was destroyed. The temporal ripples were destabilizing the system and would spread across the galaxy. Most of it crashed onto the planet below. In this mission, a select team goes back in time to prevent the station from being taken over. Over the series of posts, they had to keep out of the way of their counterparts (mostly) and keep the station from being sabotaged. The mission ended with a replay of the battle for Deep Space 5, with a very different outcome.
