Reason for the award

Part 1 and Part 2 of the same scene deserve to be considered as a whole. X-Men: Avalon has always been a sim where the storytelling is engagingly in-depth and each character finds way to connect to a bigger picture. This post is a delicious example of not only a well-paced character arc for our resident firebug but a revelation that one of this season’s villains has been sitting there in another character’s background all along. It is absolutely impressive that this group of writers continues to find ways to synergise with each other’s character arcs and this is an outstanding example of how patience, generosity and true collaboration can produce a masterpiece.
