Reason for the award

Conchy has been keeping the other DS13 players and I awash in a sea of content, tags and discussion for the last 24+ months and it shows no signs of slowing down. There’s always something new to look at, something new to read or explore on the site or in the discord, and you’re never waiting long for a tag to respond to, even though there’s no pressure to get to things too quickly. It’s never anything you have to work at if you’re not interested, but if you do want to dive in there’s so very much to explore, and that’s all his work.

In all the sims I’ve been a part of I can’t think of any where the CO/GM has had this level of devotion, attention to detail and focus on making sure that the story works, keeps moving, and that all the parts make sense alongside each other. That’s particularly impressive given DS13 is a multiversal sim that’s got characters from Stargate, Animorphs, and even a bunch of stuff I’d never heard of before the characters came aboard.

I might be biased as the AGM/XO and someone who’s simmed with him for a long time, but I think this level of consistency and application is worthy of recognition, and just a quick browse of the site should show how much work has gone into creating a whole world where universes collide, from the macro to the micro.
