Reason for the award
Cameron Bourne was a character on the Calypso seven or eight years ago. When the player asked to come back, he wanted to play off the divorce between his character and another Marine on the ship. The other character was still part of the crew and used divorce as the reason for the separation from her then-husband.
It has been a rocky reunion that involved several members of the crew, including the counselor. While he tries to deal with his ex-wife, he went from Marine XO to Co and has led the Marines on the sim to more activity and a greater involvement with the mission and the crew as a whole.
He’s an excellent player, but it’s his in-character writing and his character development that really shines.
